TRAINING OBJECTIVE

The course was created to elevate the level of professionals who wish to master ceramics comprehensively — from impeccable technical execution to visual communication capable of highlighting their results in the market.

Over two intensive days, participants develop advanced skills in layering, optical interpretation, and biomimetic reproduction, while also learning how to transform their work into professional images that generate authority, trust, and new opportunities.

The goal is for each participant to leave fully prepared to produce ceramic results of excellence and to communicate these results strategically on social media, achieving greater visibility, recognition, and professional growth.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THIS TRAINING?

  • Understand and know how to indicate the different layering techniques
  • Interpret the optical characteristics of anterior teeth
  • Correlate optical mapping with the ceramic system
  • Master control of opacity and translucency
  • Biomimetic reproduction of dental tissues
  • Different ways to reproduce the “halo effect”
  • Exercises to understand the design of mamelons
  • How to create natural incisal nuances
  • Understand how to control the volume of layers
  • Master the design of brightness and transition lines
  • Develop a predictable protocol for finishing and texture
  • Understand the difference between self-glaze and conventional glaze
  • Furnace settings for each firing
  • Layer using any ceramic system
  • Improve your layering with pigments
  • Enable the participant to interpret photographs of natural teeth and connect that perception to the layering technique
  • Record ceramic work in photographs for presentation and marketing

DR. YAN BARROZZO

Yan Barrozzo holds a degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Ceará – UFC.

He has worked as a ceramist for ten years, dedicating a large part of the last six years to teaching, with more than 800 students trained through his methodology in the main training centres in Brazil (JP Cursos, Eunice Soluções, Sul Treinamentos, Instituto Gineton Rodrigues, Intellectus, Dental ITA, among others).

Yan is the coordinator of the online training programme FORMAÇÃO CERAMISTA, with more than 250 students followed daily in a private group, making it his most complete and comprehensive course in terms of content.

He is also an international speaker, having delivered in-person courses in countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Kurdistan and Uzbekistan.

COURSE PROGRAMME

Theoretical guidance on the behaviour of light and its relationship with natural teeth. Understanding the ceramic system, its resources, biomimetics, material selection, furnace settings, structural design, aesthetic parameters and discussion of clinical cases.

Selection of ceramic powders, adaptation and adjustments of the structures, and layering of 6 anterior elements, using both the full layering technique and vestibular micro-layering, discussing — through demonstration — aspects related to morphology and colour in order to achieve natural results.

The application is based on the trilaminar concept (dentine, effects and enamel), using as reference the same histoanatomical construction of natural teeth. Different stratification approaches will be presented to the student, combining the use of ceramic powders and pigments for the creation of effects.

The course is dedicated exclusively to practice, with the application of effects and enamel, finishing, texture, polishing and glaze of the ceramic pieces. Under the professor’s supervision, all participants will carry out the proposed methodology.

BENEFITS OF THE TRAINING

  • Layering techniques and interpretation of the optical characteristics of anterior teeth.
    • Master the ability to analyse natural teeth and translate this perception into precise, natural and aesthetically faithful layering.
  • Control of opacity, translucency and biomimetic reproduction of dental tissues.
    • Learn to handle ceramic layers with precision, balancing opacity and translucency to achieve biomimetic results that integrate perfectly into the smile.
  • Different ways to reproduce the “halo effect”, natural incisal nuances and mamelon design.
    • Discover how to create advanced optical effects such as halo, incisal nuances and mamelons that enhance realism and depth in your ceramic work.
  • Development of a predictable protocol for finishing, texture, polishing and glaze.
    • Acquire a clear and reproducible method for finishing, creating surfaces with shine, texture and harmony that elevate the final result and ensure clinical excellence.
  • Layering with any ceramic system and enhancement using pigments.
    • Become versatile and confident when working with different ceramic systems, improving outcomes through the strategic and intelligent use of pigments.
  • The course combines theory and intensive practice.
    • The first day focuses on theoretical guidance (light behaviour, ceramic systems, biomimetics, material selection) and demonstration of the layering of six anterior elements (full layering technique and vestibular micro-layering). The second day is entirely dedicated to practice, where participants will execute the proposed methodology, applying effects, enamel, finishing, texture and glaze, with individual supervision and support from the professor.
  • SIGO Certification (European Certificate)
    • Receive a certificate issued by SIGO (Information and Management System for Educational and Training Offer), coordinated by GEPE – Ministry of Education and Science, as established by Ordinance nº 474/2010, with both national and international recognition (as provided for in Directives 89/48 and 92/51 EEC).
